Home Constitution and Bylaws Membership Helpful Links for Preachers Executive Board Meetings

Members of CATH have found the following Web Sites to be helpful for teachers of homiletics as well as for preachers:

Sr. Joan Delaplane Preaching

Athenaeum of Ohio

"This web site follows the lectionary cycle of the Roman Catholic Church and offers you a unique variety of features: an early posting of weekly background scripture study and a sample homily; a variety of preachers ---lay, ordained and professed religious--- representing numerous settings ranging from rural churches to suburban parishes;and a monthly feature article on a practical topic related to preaching"

Bible Commentary Page:

"This library is to facilitate the study of Scripture. With this in mind, what is carried here will be very selective. There are many major links for the study of different kinds of theology on the internet, but a particular position is not our goal. Good Bible Commentaries are still one of the greatest expenses and needs of any Pastor or Theologian so this will be our main emphasis. Various other sites will be found
which we believe are helpful in some topical fashion."

Duke Divinity School:

"A selective, annotated guide to a wide variety of electronic resources of interest to those who are teaching or studying religion and theology at the undergraduate or graduate level. The principle of organization is the course area heading. Under these headings materials are divided into types: syllabi, electronic texts, electronic journals, web sites, bibliographies, listserv discussion groups, and (for some pages) liturgical resources."
